Full House(ABC)
Premiere: September 22, 1987
Finale: May 23, 1995
This sitcom deals with the adventures of a large extended family. Sportscaster(later talk-show host) Danny Tanner(Bob Saget), grieving the loss of his wife Pamela, invites his brother-in-law, musician Jesse Katsopolis(John Stamos), and his best friend, stand-up comedian Joey Gladstone(Dave Coulier), to move in to help raise his children. Danny has three daughters: 10 year old DJ(Candace Cameron), 5 year old Stephanie(Jodie Sweetin), and infant Michelle(Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen). In season 2, the character of Danny's cohost Rebecca "Becky" Donaldson(Lori Loughlin) was brought on to be a mother figure to the girls, but quickly became much more when Uncle Jesse fell in love with her, marrying her in season 4. They would later start a family of their own, when Becky gives birth to twins Nicky and Alex in season 5. They were later played by another set of twins, Dylan and Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit. Other recurring characters included DJ's best friend Kimmy Gibbler(Andrea Barber), who was unfortunately an annoyance to the rest of the family; Danny's girlfriend Vicky Larson(Gail Edwards), who was initially brought on to Danny's show Wake Up, San Francisco as a maternity-leave replacement for Becky; and Steve Hale(Scott Weigner), DJ"s boyfriend, much to the horror of Danny, but everyone liked him.
